Times, dates, and training objectives are subject to change.
As more school age children join in the classes, breakout sessions will occur that are age appropriate.

Techniques Classes
Focus on basics (punches, blocks, kicks, etc.), self-defense, stances, weapons, etc. – with individual breakouts based on skill/belt level(s).
Sensais will roam throughout the class and work one-on-one with students in the traditional Okinawan dojo teaching methods.

Kata Classes
Focus is on belt level “forms” or katas. These are either open hand or with weapons (bo, sai, bo-bo kumite, bo-sai kumite, tuifa, and kamas).
Bunkai forms (or “fighting katas”) are taught at the black belt level.
Open Mat/Jiu-jitsu Classes
Open Mat/Jiu-jitsu classes are our newest addition!! Come and work on your “ground” game or just come and catch-up on things that you’ve missed throughout the week.
Kumite Nights
Kumite nights (or “fight” nights), is free-sparring, while using head (age/belt and comfort level dependent), mouth, shin/foot, and other protective gear, so students can learn to apply acquired basic and self-defense skills in a “real-world” (but controlled) setting.
No student is required to spar, but is encouraged to participate to learn their strengths and weaknesses.
